Laptop Saga ended

I've deposited a cheque cut by TD Meloche Monnex for my stolen and then returned laptop. They took my old laptop as salvage and reimbursed me, minus the deductible, the cost of the new one. The new one actually cost less than the old one so technically I'm still out the deductible plus the difference in value but with depreciation I think I did o.k.. I know that the insurance company was just doing their job but they did it well and I have no qualms about recommending them as a home insurer.
